Laura - The only superstitions you need to worry about are your own. If you are comfortable in a second hand dress that is a design you love, then go for it! You've made a great choice in buying a used dress for a lot less than a new dress would cost, and stains can easily be treated so that's not a problem. You will make your own luck by having a wonderful wedding day!

-- Contributed by: lauraHi Mary, There is no superstition associated with buying your dress early that I'm aware of, however, very few brides buy dresses prior to their official engagement for practical reasons. Be sure to check what, if any, return policy is available on the dress before you consider buying early. Best wishes.
