Thanks for sharing Chris - You're right, in many Asian cultures money is the traditional gift rather than toasters, linens, and other household items. It all depends on the couple's heritage and what they want to celebrate - if it is a part of their culture, of course it's perfectly acceptable, but too many couples look at a wedding reception as a fundraiser without cultural ties. We want to be sure that isn't the case!

In other cultures, specifically Korean culture, money is considered a traditional wedding gift, and is not thought of as tacky or a faux pas. It is simply part of tradition. Other cultures' traditions should be mentioned on your website. Thanks!
