Miranda - Why not have the wedding cake designed like the lighthouse? That would certainly be a unique and memorable option. To save money on the design, you could have the bottom few layers as faux layers (cardboard and icing), while the top would be the actual cake. Another option would be to find a glass or crystal cake topper that can be a memorable keepsake. See Beach Wedding Cakes for more ideas to bring the beach to you.

Hi! My name is Miranda Smith and I'm getting married in just 4 months time. My dream wedding was always to get married by a lighthouse that my father grown up in, but I live so far away for that place that we decided that since I can't get married at the lighthouse that I was going to bring the lighthouse to us. So we are having a beach wedding inside but I can't find any ideas for a cake and I have been looking everywhere... please help. We are paying everything ourselfes on very little money.
