MeghanD - Lovely idea! You can also add crystals to bowls for floating candles, put them on a mirror for extra glitter, or add them to larger flowers in the centerpieces.

I found beautiful scatter crystals at Cristalier.com They have them for the best price and in colors like pink, clear, blue and light purple. I will use them to scatter crystals around the centerpeices.

Yetunde - You can layer different cloths to combine colors, or choose embroidered cloths or those with decorative ribbon or lace edges. Choose complimentary colors for napkins, runners, and table cloths for a coordinated look, or go for a bold contrast for more drama. Best wishes!

Brenda - You could get an easy to arrange vase and just group the flowers, adding a bit of greenery such as palms or tall grasses for a tropical look. For a more whimsical approach, consider using coconut bowls as vases, add tropical drink umbrellas, or incorporate wicker elements similar to tiki torches. Best wishes!

I am looking for a simple centerpiece combining shasta daises and orchids. Does anyone have an idea? We are basically going for a tropical theme. Thanks ahead of time.

Bev - Under table lights can be done by having a thin tablecloth draping over bright lights (the cloth will diffuse the light), or by attaching the lights to the underside of the tables with sturdy hooks so the wires and such don't show. Take care to avoid fire hazard situations by using lower wattage bulbs or flourescent bulbs that generate less heat, and use a cloth thick enough to also conceal the light fixture while still letting the light shine through.
