Valerie - You can try to sell your gown via CraigsList, eBay, or other online auction sites, or use local classifieds. Some wedding vendors may also have bulletin boards where you can post flyers, or you could do that at local churches to let brides-to-be know.

I'd recommend having a local seamstress take your measurements so you have accurate sizes to compare with, and shop for a dress that fits your largest measurement - the other measurements can be taken in if necessary. Best wishes!

-- Contributed by: DaphneDonna - You can investigate plus-size retailers and see what types of dresses they may have available; this is a good time to look, because many spring and summer dresses will be similar to what you're interested in. Also check out places like David's Bridal, which stocks a lovely selection of gowns in larger sizes. Best wishes!
