Nicole, Those are great colors for an August wedding. Yes - you can alternate vest and ascot colors, or you could choose either the wine or chocolate for the men, and still alternate with the women's gowns.

getting married 8/29/09 and i really love deep wine color (burgundy) and chocolate brown... my dress will be ivory just wondering how will my colors work with the black tux the guys are wearing?could we alternate the vest and ascot colors like i am with the dresses of the bridesmaids?

The picture in this article is a stock photo, so I don't have the details about the designer -- I would check David's bridal -- they have a color called 'redwood' that is similar, very rich and beautiful.

oh my goodness! yay thats what i want.. but tryin to find a pic of those colours together is a nightmare! i think its will looks stunning! and i reckon that because u want to use the pink as just slight accents it will all tie in so beautifully! good luck with it.. you have great taste! :)

I am having chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses with yellow accents. The reason for the brown dresses is because they will be carrying sunflowers and they would jump out on the brown instead of the yellow.

Ashlee -- I think chocolate brown and a rich dark magenta or burgundy could be very lovely, but it's really about what you think! If you and your fiance like the color combination, go for it. You can have fun coordinating it with other decorations such as Chocolate and Pink Wedding Invitations, table decorations, and flowers. Enjoy being different with unique colors!

I am having chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses and we want to accent with a dark pink and my fiance wants to have some pink in the vest of the guys tux's and my mom thinks that would look horrible but i think it would be pretty. What are your thoughts????
