Camilla - Very true. Many hotels offer packages for couples planning their weddings on-site, and they may include private dinners, massages, and other special treats that can be great for the honeymoon.

Another good tip I've heard that isn't mentioned in the article: if you have your wedding at a hotel, not only do they often give you a free night's stay, they may also be able to offer you a good deal on a honeymoon travel package--I know the Marriot hotel in my area does this.

A cruise is a nice option for a honeymoon and you don't have to worry about as many details. There are also many destination resorts that are all-inclusive and you can check them out as well. Be sure you understand your budget properly, and don't be afraid to ask for specific details about what is and isn't included in different packages. The key is to visit somewhere where you can just enjoy one another and spend a relaxing getaway together, whether it is in a faraway destination or just a few miles from home.

Hi, i am getting married feb 28th 200-... we are stuck as to where to go and do what.. our ideas so far a cruise to differtnt islands or fly/cruise to jamaica, aruba or i guess where ever.. please help...
