Invitation Information
Wedding invitations usually offer the following information:
- Names of the Parents-Depending upon the situation and the bride and groom's preference, the bride's and the groom's parents may issue the invitation, and if so both sets of names need to be on the invitation. There are other alternatives, however, including invitations issued by just the bride's or the groom's parents, or even the couple's children from a prior marriage.
- Names of the Betrothed Couple-You'll need to decide if you want the formal names of the couple, the nicknames, or a combination of both printed on the wedding invitation.
- Location of the Wedding-Sometimes a map may need to be included.
- Date and Time-If you want everyone there, be sure you add these two items!
- Reception Info-Information should be included regarding the reception, including a map to the reception if it is at a different location from the wedding.
