No Jacket

I recently saw a great option for the groom and groomsmen that I think is really stylish - instead of a full tuxedo with the typical white shirt, the guys opted for just a colored shirt, dress slacks, and a full vest (not the front-only vest from a lot of cheap tuxedos). Without the jacket it seems a bit more casual, but the full vest is very distinguished and dashing. It’s a great way for the guys in the bridal party to sport more color as well, instead of just a colored tie or something that’s usually hidden under a full jacket. All the guys can wear the same color vest and the groom’s shirt color could be white instead of colored, or the vest colors can be different to give the groom an extra touch.

This is also great for a beach wedding when a full three-piece suit might be too hot or bulky for the groom and groomsmen, or just for an outdoor summer wedding.

What do you think?
