Wedding invitation question
How do I address a wedding invitation to a friend who is dating seriously dating (not living with) someone? We want them both to come, but if they were not dating we would not invite the date --not that close?

Hi Terri,
I would address the outer mailed envelope to your friend alone. The inner envelope can be addressed with your friend's name and his/her significant other's name. For example, "Miss Elizabeth Smith and Mr. Robert Johnson" would be on the inner envelope. Your other option is to write "Miss Elizabeth Smith and Guest" on the inner envelope, but if your friend is seriously dating the other person, and you've met him/her several times, it's best to use his/her name on the inner envelope.
